Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have been in mental health services to use Kare?

No. We support all women, but we offer free or reduced-cost support to those who have been in mental health services.

What happens in the Discovery Session™?

We meet in a quiet café or online to talk through your story, your challenges and your goals. Together we build your personalised Kare Plan™.

Where do sessions take place?

Discovery Sessions are in-person (Birmingham café) or online.
Other services are delivered at your home, in community spaces, or with partnered practitioners.

is Kare a therapy service?

No. Kare offers practical, emotional and lifestyle support — not clinical therapy. We complement mental health services, not replace them.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is discussed privately after your Discovery Session.
Some women are eligible for free or reduced-cost support.

What is the Kare Essentials Pack™?

A free care pack gifted to every new client, filled with practical personal-care items to support your wellbeing journey.

Who delivers the services?

A small team of vetted, trauma-aware women including organisers, stylists, life assistants, fitness coaches and volunteers.

Do I need to prepare anything for the Soft Home Reset™?

No. We work gently and at your pace. You don’t need to tidy before we arrive — this is a judgement-free service.

Can I volunteer with Kare?

Yes. Volunteers help us pack Essentials Packs, assist at Glam & Growth days, or support community events.

Do I need to show proof of being in mental health services?

Yes, for free support. You can share your care team, mental health service, hospital name or discharge letter — nothing intrusive.

Can I bring my children to sessions?

For home sessions, yes.

For Glam & Growth or Fitness sessions, we recommend arranging childcare.

Is this confidential

Yes. Everything shared in Kare is private and handled with respect.
